Our Beginnings

In 1913, Oscar Greco founded the Greco's Bakery, adopting the motto "the taste will tell". Oscar's son Cecil Greco, born that same year and raised in the bakery, developed a natural talent and love for baking. Cecil opened the original Greco's Pizza in 1969, retaining the quality and pride in service he learned from his father.

Great Pizza,

Everytime

We use modified pizza ovens to cook our pizzas directly on stone bricks. We use the finest unbleached flour with fresh baker's yeast to prepare our dough daily right here in our restaurant. Combined with the addition of cornmeal, our distinctive crust is unlike anyone else's.

My wife and myself have been to Greco's since 1971 and I have to say this is by far the worst experience we have ever had The pizza was warm to cold delivered It was supposed to be 1/2 ham and 1/2 mushroom and green pepper We received all colored for peppers the other half there was two big bubbles with little to none ham and there was hardly any cheese on the pizza Normally I don't complain about this but I feel it was slapped together with little consideration to looks and presentation I know your quality has generally surpassed our expectations and I know you can do better Please look into this so that your standards improve because I know you are better than this Thank you for listening

Now that I have more family in North Bay, I am always pointing them towards Grecos for great food. This great restaurant has been around for a long, long time, and for good reason. Pasta is always difficult to get right at restaurants. Something about the sauce not being fresh and pasta not being properly cooked have turned me off from pasta at restaurants in the past. Grecos nails pasta, (among other dishes) every time. I got the cheese cannelloni one time, and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. Grecos will always be a North Bay staple. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!
