In 1913, Oscar Greco founded Greco's Bakery, adopting as his motto "The Taste Will Tell." Oscar's son Cecil, born that same year, and raised in the bakery developed a natural talent and love for baking. He opened the original Greco's Pizza in 1969, retaining the quality and pride in service learned at his father's side.


Our pizza is cooked in specially modified baking ovens, lined with firebrick and fired by natural gas, to best approximate the traditional hearth style baking process. These bricks maintain a constant even heat that gently cooks the pizza, a direct contrast to the more commonplace pan cooking.

Our crust is the product of a baking heritage. we use the finest unbleached flour blended with fresh baker's yeast that yields a distinctively tasty and crispy crust. The dough is prepared daily on the premises. Each piece is portioned and refrigerated to rise slowly, and ready for baking the moment you place your order. Our pizza is a gourmet's delight.




The Canada Food Guide points out that natural, grain-based products - like pasta - are an excellent source of protein and carbohydrates. Pasta contains 12% protein (not including sauce) and is low in fat (1.4%). It has vitamins (thiamin -B1; riboflavin - B2; and niacin) and iron. Contrary to popular belief, pasta is not fattening approximately 400 calories. Add butter and Parmesan cheese and you have another 100 calories; or add tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese and you have another 125 calories. Anyway you cut it, pasta is a good food idea - and good for you as well. Remember at Greco's you have Satisfaction Guaranteed!



Our homemade pasta and sauces are prepared daily right in our store. We use only the finest ingredients and traditional Italian methods. Pasta All'Uova, the egg dough, is made with high quality Durum Semolina flour and plenty of fresh eggs. There are no preservatives, no artificial colouring of any kind here at Greco's. Fresh pasta is not only delicious, but nutritious as well.
